  • Rainbow MAT Vision & Values

The Rainbow Multi-Academy Trust aims to build a brighter future together. It puts children first, looking to provide them with a truly outstanding, inspirational, and inclusive world-class education. We are a charity that runs our group of schools for the common good.

    Our Trust Values

Ambitious- always have high expectations and aspirations for everyone; learning from the best and having an optimistic outlook

Empowering- believing and investing in our people; developing talent and potential; celebrating diversity and individuality: working collaboratively and celebrating achievement

Ethical- doing what is right and challenging what is wrong; showing kindness and compassion; promoting wellbeing and sustainability

Linking the Trust's Vision & Values to Matthew 5:16

The Bible verse calls each person to let their light shine — to live in a way that reflects goodness, purpose, and love, so that others are uplifted and inspired. The Trust’s vision and values reflect this same idea through education, empowerment, and ethical living.

    “Build a brighter future together”

This echoes the call to shine light in the world. By putting children first and aiming for a world-class education, the Trust helps each child develop their full potential — their own unique light — to shape a better future.

    Ambitious

    • “Always have high expectations and aspirations for everyone” mirrors the call to shine with purpose and excellence.

    • Like the verse, this value encourages children and staff to live out their God-given potential in a way that influences others for good.

    Empowering

    • Empowerment means helping others find and use their gifts — just as Jesus taught his followers to be lights in the world.

    • Celebrating diversity and individuality reflects the belief that every light is unique, and together they create something powerful and beautiful.

    Ethical

    • Doing what is right, showing compassion, and promoting well-being are all ways to live out “good deeds” that others can see — exactly what Matthew 5:16 encourages.

    • This value puts faith into action, showing that shining your light means making a positive difference, rooted in kindness and justice.
