Our Nursery provides an exciting start to education for 2 – 4 year olds. We believe providing a varied and challenging environment helps prepare children well for Reception when they begin school officially. Our curriculum is designed around the Governments Early Years Foundation Stage profile with a particular focus on the prime areas of:

• Communication and language
• Physical development
• Personal, social and emotional development

We foster a strong child-initiated, play-based focus within our pre-school and nursery, which offers a carefully planned curriculum that provides resources to enhance the holistic learning and development of children.

We begin teaching Read, Write, Inc in pre-school when children are ready to give them a great head start when they enter reception.
We believe very strongly that children should be given equal opportunity to learn and develop both indoors and outdoors. We are lucky to have our beautiful woodland area where the children enjoy learning no matter the weather.

Our flexible structure allows for children to attend between 2 to 10 morning or afternoon sessions per week, helping families structure their week in a way that works for the child and themselves. Younger children often start with less sessions and build them up as they grow older.

We offer the Government funded sessions as below:

• 2 Year old 15 and 30 hour funding
• 3 & 4 year old 15 hour funding
• 3 & 4 year old 30 hours funding

These sessions can be flexibly booked and can be topped up by ‘paid for sessions’. Paid sessions are currently charged at:

• £18 per 3 hour session (Morning/Afternoon).
• £6.00 for the lunch period (extra £2.65 for a school dinner)
• £4.50 Breakfast Club
• £10.50 After School Club

Please note that we can also use Government funding for Breakfast Club and After school club.
