HAPPY NATIONAL TEACHER ASSISTANT APPRECIATION DAY! We couldn't do what we do here without our glorious TA's and support staff. You help everyone shine their light in so many different ways unique to each child. We appreciate you more than ever. You are so crucial to our school family, community and beyond.
Today we visited Wesley Methodist Church to take part in a Creation Care Workshop. We had an incredible time exploring the creation story and discussing the history and importance of harvest. We have had some fantastic spiritual moments allowing the children to think in out and up. The children then took part in several different activities: We made harvest cookies sharing the responsibility of each instruction working as a team, which we will share together like food shared at harvest. We created art with different types of food that we will use to decorate our hall as part of our own school harvest celebrations. We wrote prayers to God, thanking him for the wonders of the world, a moment to reflect on how we can look after the world better and our dreams for the future. It was a wonderful experience.
So proud to be part of this
