Well done to Charlie who won the values raffle for Truthfulness for last half term. This half term we will be focussing on the value of Courage, which is perfect in the lead up to the end of the school as we begin to think about our transitions and lots were already given out during sports week last week!
Sports Week 2025 What an incredible week we've had celebrating Sports Week 2025! Our children have truly embodied the core values of sportintegrity, sportsmanship, teamwork, courage, perseverance and respectin everything they've done. From the excitement of Wheelchair Sports and Chance to Shine Cricket, to the energy of Vox Dance, the strength shown in Phoenix Gymnastics, the leadership of CSIA Sports Leaders and the enthusiasm in all our teacher-led PE activitiesit's been a week full of challenge, learning and most importantly, fun! Sports Day at Carn Brea One of the highlights of the week was our fantastic Sports Day at Carn Brea Leisure Centre track. The children put on a fabulous display of athleticism, determination, and team spirit. It was amazing to see everyone giving it 100% effort to help their houses earn valuable points. A huge well done to Porthtowan, who took home the trophy this year! A massive thank you to all of our amazing families for your fundraising efforts that helped make this week possible. Our top fundraisers received their prize in today's celebration assembly. A special well done to those children who received a 'Sports Stars of the week' certificate. It has been so heartwarming to see every single child shine their light, trying new activities, stepping out of their comfort zones and supporting one another every step of the way.
MONDAY 16TH JUNE - MATHS MONDAY As we celebrate all things Mathematics, the children will be taking part in various fun and exciting activities based around different areas of Maths throughout the day. The day is 'Maths Fancy Dress' so children can come to school wearing an outfit expressing Maths in any way - this may be dressing up a numberblock, a playing card or even having numbers on your top. There will be a prize for the best outfit of the day. We cannot wait!
